Any family or community member can volunteer.
Volunteers must

Register with the Oakley Secure Volunteer website.

Be available, dependable, friendly and flexible.

Follow all district or state mandated criteria.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding students and school personnel.
Oakley uses two levels of volunteers
​​​Level I Volunteers
Level I volunteers don't have unsupervised contact with students. They can help with PTO fundraisers, test proctoring, concession sales or school beautification projects.

Level II Volunteers
Level II volunteers may have unsupervised contact with students and may volunteer more than once per week. Level II volunteers work in the classroom, serve as tutors, coaches or field trip chaperones.​
Level II volunteers require a background check.
